I just uploaded a new video on Youtube showing some nice vacation spots around the world where you can take a golf vacation. It leads to a new section on my main golf site and is dedicated to golf vacations.
I believe the all time best golf training aid is the small modern digital still camera.
I’m referring to the type that not only takes pictures but also takes video clips (most of them do). I honestly believe that a small digital camera that takes video clips will help you more than any other golf training aid out there.
I use a Canon SD800 camera now and it’s a joy to use. It’s about the size of a cell phone so I can easily clip it to my belt or put it in my pocket. There are a number of other brands that make nice little cameras beside Canon (Sony, Casio, Olympus, etc.)
Many people buy their golf balls based on price alone. If your game is not up to par (no pun intended), and you think those water holes are looking a little ominous, you are moste likely to buy a box of cheaper balls knowing that the pain won’t be as great if you lose a few.
Keep in mind, though, if you are looking for peak performance, then your choice of golf ball is crucial. Golf ball selection can be as important to the success of your game as the clubs you will be carrying around the course.
Your golf balls need to be matched to your swing and your style of play.
We can’t blame the golf club manufacturers for targeting their most profitable market of right-handed golfers, but it is quite difficult for golfers who play left handed to find the selection offered to the mainstream players.
I actually throw right handed but bat left handed. However, when I was young and first took up golf, I did so right handed as I used my dad’s golf clubs. I’ve often wondered if I had just golfed lefty if I might have had even better results.
