The wedge is an important club and mastering it will immediately help you lower your gold scores.

The swing . . . at the top of the swing with a wedge, the left arm is almost straight. The backswing is shorter than it is with other irons, due to the shorter length of the club and the open stance.

There is less pivot and shifting of the weight. The left heel is still on the ground.
