Begin your practice by stroking the ball from good lies. Make sure you are hitting them good and your shots are going where you want them to.

Now begin practicing from poor and bad lies. The techniques are basically the same but the anxiety is higher so you need to get over this.

If you are constantly hitting the ball badly from these poor lies, return to the good lies and continue. Constantly hitting poor shots wil destroy your confidence. Keep practicing the good lies and continue to slowly practice from por lies until you begin to develop some confidence.
